The Philosophy of Just Show Up

I believe the biggest barrier between you and your goals is not time, strength, or knowledge. The biggest barrier is the voice in your head that says: "One more day of postponement."

Just Show Up simply means to be present. The rest follows.

My approach

  1. Start small - 5 minutes is enough to begin
  2. Be consistent - better 10 minutes every day than 7 hours on the weekend
  3. Stop perfectionism - a bad training session is better than no training
  4. Celebrate small wins - every step you take counts

Background

I am a movement scientist and coach who has worked for years with athletes from beginner to expert. Most successes did not find their origin in a revolution - but in the simple act of getting up every day and trying.

This blog is for you if:

  • You want to move but do not know where to start
  • You find it hard to stay consistent
  • You think you "do not have time" - because everyone has exactly as much time as I do
  • You are ready to let go of perfection and just start

"The morning routine makes or breaks your day. Choose action."
